We are hiring a Parts & Service Advisor
Barlo Motor Group are a leading Motor Dealer Group who have 4 dealerships located in the counties of Tipperary and Kilkenny. We operate Main Dealer Franchises for Ford, Hyundai and Nissan.
A role has come available for a Parts & Service Advisor at our Ford Dealership based in Thurles, Co.Tipperary.
If you are an experienced, dynamic and driven Aftersales Advisor or Service Advisor you may be interested in this exciting new opportunity
The ideal candidate would have the following attributes:
- Strong technical knowledge
- Customer care focus
- Team Player but can also work on their own and use initiative
- Vision and strategy skills
- Full, clean driving licence
- 3 years of experience in a Dealership Service/Aftersales Advisor role
- Enthusiastic about the Ford brand along with the vehicles and services we offer
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Meeting customers and developing an understanding of their requirements and preferences
- Manage incoming service enquiries, book appointments and schedule the work required
- Liaising with customers on an on-going basis
- Ensuring all documentation including job sheets and invoicing are correctly processed
- Administration, invoice preparation and processing of warranty claims.
- Other ad-hoc work that will arise in a busy service department.
- Maximising profitability and commercial opportunities
- Effectively market Labour Hours, Parts, Accessories, Lubricants and Subcontracted Services
- Monitoring and working towards monthly, quarterly and annual targets
- Ensure that outstanding payments are collected from the customer
- Customer Vehicle handovers
