Sales executive
Cork City Ford Centre is a leading Ford dealer for Car & Commercial Vehicle sales and aftersales in Cork City. We are looking to expand our sales team and have exciting opportunity for a highly professional and experienced Commercial Vehicle& Passenger vehicle sales executive with a proven track record in sales to join our team.
The role:
To sell the range of new and used Ford Commercial vehicles and Passenger vehicles, meeting agreed sales volumes on an annual basis while maintaining the highest customer service at all times.
Attributes
- Proven track record in sales in the motor industry.
- Have the ability to identify the most suitable vehicle and finance offering for each customer.
- Be target driven, results focused.
- Possess a confident and outgoing personality.
- Have excellent computer and organisational skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
Responsibilities:
- To sell the industry leading suite of Ford Commercial Vehicles & Passenger vehicles through the use of an effective sales process, whilst at the same time achieve the best profit for the Dealership.
- Carry out accurate appraisals of all vehicles offered for part exchange.
- Maintain showroom and displays to the required for our Transit Centre & Passenger vehicle standards.
- Using various sources, prospect for new and used CV & PV customers on a regular basis to create additional sales opportunities.
- Manage the preparation and handover of sold vehicles to customers ensuring that the customer is given a full briefing on the operation of the vehicle and its controls. Introduce customers to Aftersales staff in order that they are aware of the facilities and procedures.
- Maintain regular contact with all new and existing customers to ensure that relationships are maintained for potential repeat business.
- Maintain high levels of product knowledge and upskill in line with Ford quarterly mandated on line training.
- Ensure all customer information, sales activities, vehicle documentation and other relevant information is kept and maintained accurately and comprehensively.
- To participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales
